Esrin paints feet. Not because she has a thing for them (calm down), but because they’re weird, wonderful, and most often overlooked.
They carry us through life, yet they rarely get the attention they deserve - unless, of course, someone slides into your DMs asking for foot pics. That’s where this all started. It was one of those messages you don’t expect but also can’t unsee.
"... send feet pictures to me..."
At first, she laughed. Then, she got curious. Then, she picked up her brush.
What began as a bizarre online encounter turned into an obsession: feet as symbols of movement, intimacy, objectification, resilience. They press into sand, curl on bathmats, balance on surfboards. Sometimes they’re elegant, sometimes absurd. Sometimes they just exist - raw, unpolished, painted with a spatula like they’re sinking into the canvas itself. Her work toes the line (pun intended) between admiration and ownership, humor and critique. Some pieces lean into surrealism - a foot with six toes, arches reaching impossible heights -while others feel like quiet acts of care, a fresh coat of polish as a small, defiant fuck you to the idea that feet should only be admired on someone else’s terms.
